The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Anger About Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments without notifying every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with similar services.
They have suggested members to examine their items and update the measurements by hand if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
